As of today, Reisswolf Sachsen in Chemnitz Germany is the proud owner of a Mercedes-Benz Van Schijndel ACB vehicle specially designed for the collection of confidential documents. The 20m³ body has a capacity of over 10 tonnes of paper. Particularly in case compared to a box body truck and ‘container swapping’, the efficiency increases significantly using this type of transport. The logistic chain is abridged, this results in lesser man hours, kilometres, time and fuel. The rear loader is equipped with a dual-purpose door. The vehicle can be loaded from ground level but also from loading ramp-height. Loading ramps are common at hospitals. The integrated accurate weighing system allows for integer cost allocation.
